FAQ

What does the DNS check do?
It resolves your domain via several different public DNS resolvers (AliDNS, DNSPod, Baidu, Google, Cloudflare) and puts each server's returned IPs side by side. If every resolver returns the same IPs, the DNS record has fully propagated; if they differ, DNS may not have fully propagated, or the domain uses geo / line-based resolution.
Why do different DNS servers return different results?
After changing a DNS record (e.g. the A record), each resolver caches the old value until its TTL expires, so some resolvers still return the old IP while others already return the new one. Also, some domains return different IPs by visitor region (geo / line-based resolution), which also causes differences.
Where does the data come from?
Your browser calls each public DNS provider's DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) endpoint directly to resolve — queries never pass through this site's server.
